IAM stands for Identity and Access Management. It’s a framework of policies and technologies for ensuring that the right people in an organization have the appropriate access to technology resources. IAM systems provide administrators with the tools and technologies to change a user’s role, track user activities, create reports on those activities, and enforce policies continuously.
